The Psyche Solutions Africa Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization that serves as the community engagement and social impact arm of our work. While our consultancy supports institutions to transform systems, the Foundation focuses on locally informed, equity-driven programming that reaches under served and structurally excluded populations. We design and deliver inclusive interventions with and alongside youth, women, and informal workers, addressing critical gaps in distribution and access.
Guided by our UTU framework — the Swahili concept of humanity — our approach centres long-term community ownership, sustainable outcomes, and evidence-based models that can scale across regions. Through partnerships with local institutions, government actors, and civil society organisations, we strengthen the social infrastructure needed to support resilience, agency, and inclusive development.
East Africa’s underserved regions grapple with deep-rooted challenges that hinder well-being and opportunity, from limited mental health resources to entrenched inequalities.
Established on 26 August 2024 in partnership with the Karamoja Business Institute in Northern Uganda, the Psyche Solutions Social Incubator programme supports the development of youth-led social enterprises as a pathway to address systemic unemployment, regional inequality, and economic exclusion.
